The Madbull Gemtech Halo Silencers genius is in its simplicity; in a nutshell, it drops on right over the top of a standard type flash hider on your AR type rifle and screw against itself for a dead tight fit. It is so simple it almost defies logic. The ring goes on over a flash hider and its narrowing traps behind the flash hider against the outer barrel. The silencer screws down on to the ring and turns until tight against the outer front surface of the flash hider. The suppressor tube itself is 15cm / 6 inches long with the extra 4cm / 1.5 inch ring attachment bracket. This style of suppressor is foam lined on the inside and so does not do much for the sound output of your weapon other then changing the sound a little bit. No special flash hider required, no tools required; it will even tolerate non-standard flash hiders if they do not deviate from the length or width too much from the standard type.
